It as with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bill Cherneski at the age of 76 years. Bill died peacefully with his family at his side. Left to mourn his passing are: his loving wife of 54 years, Audrey; his children: Larry, Harvey (Marlyn) & Gloria (Hugh) Miller; grandchildren: Evan, Ryan, Lindsay (Brennan), Maddie (Chris), Orry (Ashley), & Christopher; great grandchildren: Aubrey, Brooklyn & Wyatt; his sister Sylvia (Mike) Pokoyoway; and his sister-in-law Eleanor (Larry) Kleiwer; as well as several nieces, nephews, relatives & friends. Bill was predeceased by his parents Nick and Sophie and his brothers Mike (Jennie) and Morris. Bill had many passions in life, his children and grandchildren and the three loves of his life, his great grandchildren. Music was also a great part of his life and he played his instruments until the day he was hospitalized. Singing, especially in church, brought him great happiness. A Prayer Service will be held on Friday, October 11, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. and the Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 11:45 a.m. Both Services will be held at the Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church in Cudworth officiated by Rev. Fr. Mykola Romanets. Cremation will follow with Interment of the Urn to take place at the Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery.
