Joseph Raymond “Sonny” Cochet passed away peacefully at the Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert, SK on Thursday, February 2, 2023 at the age of 88 years. Sonny Leaves to mourn his passing and cherish his memory his children: Rick (Connie) Cochet of Prince Albert, SK; Roxanne Fraser of Edmonton, AB and Rhonda Cochet of Cudworth, SK; 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, his brother and sister Raymond (Marie) Cochet of St. Louis, SK and Rose-Marie Kadziolka of Calgary, AB; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Valida Lussier of St. Louis, SK, Doris McDougall of St. Louis, SK, Alexandre (Eileen) McDougall of Regina, SK, Greg McDougall of St. Louis, SK and Tony Petit of Birch Hills, SK; as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Sonny was predeceased by his parents, Joseph & Gisella (Zurowski) Cochet; his wife, Marina in 2015, his brothers-in-law, Casimir Kadziolka & Emile Lussier and his sister-in-law Verna Petit. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the St. Louis Roman Catholic Church, St. Louis, SK, on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at 11:00 a.m with Rev. Phong Tran as celebrant. Interment of the Urn will follow in the St. Louis Roman Catholic Cemetery. Donations in memory of Sonny may be directed to the St. Louis Roman Catholic Cemetery Fund.
