With sadness we announce the passing of our mother and grandmother, Anne Herchak of Wakaw, SK. Anne was born in Wakaw on Dec 2, 1931 and passed away 90 years later on Aug 14, 2022. Mom spent much of her time caring for people. She was industrious and always showed hospitality. Her greatest display of caring was sharing her faith in the Creator, Jehovah God. The Bible’s promise that soon death, tears and pain would be removed sustained and comforted her. Even when she was very ill.

She was predeceased by her husband, Elko Herchak, her parents, Maksym & Paranka Zarysky and her siblings.

Anne is survived by her children, Nathan (Gloria) Herchak of Wakaw. Nadine (Larry) Brunet of Moose Jaw. Grandchildren, Sherry (Andrew Dimian), Karen, Rebecca & Brent Brunet. (Norine)Judy (Gerald) Swicheniuk of Wakaw. Grandchildren, Lee (Lindsey, children Blake & Taylor) & Jannah Swicheniuk. Her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Mary Didur & Bill Herchal along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Anne’s family would like to express sincere appreciation for the exceptional care Mom received over the years from Home Care, Doctors, and Hospital staff.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Aug 27th, 2022 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses 108-3rd St. N. Wakaw, Sk. and on Zoom. Meeting ID - 579 308 3382 Password - 08272022
