Obituary for Ashleigh Cecile Gaudet

With great sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved daughter and sister on August 9, 2022, in Edmonton, AB. Ashleigh was 28 years old and passed away peacefully with family by her side after a long fight against heart failure. She was born to Ellayn Gaudet (Parent) and Guy Gaudet on June 20, 1994, in Prince Albert, SK. She was the eldest of her sisters, Alaisha and Alisen and was surrounded by the love of her family, uncles, aunts, cousins, friends, and coworkers. Ashleigh resided in Prince Albert and was a devoted worker at Public Health. She could always be found visiting with family and friends and loved knowing what was going on with those around her. She loved spending nights at home watching soap operas, dramas, and reality shows, especially old seasons of Big Brother. She loved country music and travelling with her friends. She never complained when she was sick and always stayed positive. She was so kind and strong and will be loved forever and dearly missed by everyone who knows her. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the St. Isidore de Bellevue Roman Catholic Church on August 18, 2022, at 2:00 PM, with Rev. Fr. Matthew Nguyen officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Isidore Roman Catholic Cemetery followed by a luncheon at the Bellevue Hall. Donations in memory of Ashleigh may be directed to the Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute, 11220 83 Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Marc Blondeau of Kushneryk Funeral Service, Wakaw, SK, 306-233-4403.
