Walter is dearly remembered by his loving wife of 61 1/2 years, Albina.
His children Marian (Eric) Arthurs, Diane Pidhaychuk, Yvonne (Bob) Fenner, Terry (Julie), Tony (Donna), and Linda (Cory) Luby.
12 Grandchildren Amanda, Cody, Bobby, Hannah, Emily, Myron, Mackenzie, Adam, Cameron, Kendyl, Tyson, Taylor and 2 great grandchildren Henry and Brooklyn.

Walter is predeceased by his parents Steve and Josephine (Roharchuk), sister Mary Baschuk, brother in laws Fred Baschuk and Eugene Swick, one son in law Alex Pidhaychuk, parents in laws John and Ann Kukuruz.
Walter was born July 29, 1934 and was raised on his family farm near Alvena, which he continued to farm until his passing. They farmed a variety of grains along with having many different animals.
On August 7, 1960 Walter and Albina Kukuruz were married. They raised their family of 6, farmed and moved to Wakaw in 1995.
Walter was a self taught mechanic and sat as a Director at the Alvena Co-op for 50 years. He helped build the Gariel Bridge and also worked as a Patrol operator.
Walter was always willing and ready to help his neighbours or anyone in need.
As a farmer you never really retire but he did find some time to relax.
His pride and joy was watching his grandchildren play hockey, Ukrainian dancing along with a variety of sports and activities.
Walter assisted making noodles and perogies with Albina, along with auction sales, crop checking, driving around dealerships and a good old game of kaiser. He also visited Ukraine twice.
A couple years ago he even pulled an all nighter combining with his sons Terry and Tony.
Dad had a great sense of humor and will be fondly remembered and forever missed.
