Violet Joyce Klassen passed away peacefully at the Lakeview Pioneer Lodge in Wakaw, SK, on May 1, 2022 at the age of 92 years. Joyce leaves to mourn her passing and cherish her memory, her husband, Elmer; her children: Dave (Debbie), Elmer “Fudd” (Anne) and Sigfried (Brenda); 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, her sister Beverly Riou, her sister-in-law Rose Friske, as well as several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Joyce was predeceased by her parents William and Marion (Wudrick) Friske, her son Lester (Geri), her brothers: Adolph (Mary), Sam, Norman (Cecilia) & Harold (Ann); and her sisters: June (Jerry) Vancoughnett, Emma (Roy) Touet, Hilda (Sig) Leib, and Martha in infancy. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bethania Lutheran Church, Northern Light, SK with Deacon Eldon Danielson officiating. Interment will follow at the Bethania Lutheran Cemetery. Donations in memory of Joyce may be directed to the Bethania Lutheran Cemetery.
