The family of Randy Sarchuk are saddened to announce his untimely death on
March 12, 2022 at his home. In keeping with our brother’s wishes, no funeral
service will be held.
Randy was born on June 30, 1960 in Wakaw, Saskatchewan, the middle child of
Ruth and Paul Sarchuk. Growing up, Randy enjoyed the farm, cars, skidooing
and hockey. School was not for Randy and after completing grade 10, he
entered the working world eventually becoming an auto body painter. In time this
began to affect his health negatively. He was given the opportunity to be a
technical sales rep for Reineking Paint Ltd in Regina eventually working his way,
through hard work and determination, to be the Saskatchewan Sales Manager.
This is where Randy’s natural abilities and talents shone and he enjoyed his
career for over 30 years, gaining respect and trust from his employers and
customers. The company was sold a few times and he worked through these
changes with his last employer being Color Compass. Randy enjoyed fishing,
researching family history and hoped to travel in his retirement, perhaps visiting
the homeland of his ancestors.
Randy leaves behind his brother Darrell (Clara), sister Naomi, nephew Ian
(Teryn), niece Amanda, two great-nephews Grayson and Logan and numerous
aunts, uncles, cousins and relatives. Randy was predeceased by his parents
and grandparents.
