Obituary for Peter William "Pete" Ilchyshen
Peter (Pete) William Ilchyshen was born in Wakaw on June 22, 1948 he passed away in Rostern hospital on July 9,2021. He was predeased by his parents William and Nettie Ilchyshen, his siblings Lena, Gloria and Jack. He is survived by his wife Bev Ilchyshen, son Tim Ilchyshen, daughters Tena Lebel (Ryan Fleck), Vicky Ilchyshen (Jordie Walker), brother Vern Ilchyshen (Hayley Mills), brother in-law John Hue and grandchildren Connor Haskell, Colton Anderson, Kaylyn Anderson, Cashtyn Ilchyshen and Charley Ilchyshen.
Pete grew up in Tway and went to school there. In his teenage years he went to work for Evan Marco. From there he went to work for the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool as a crib boss for 30 years. Then after he retired from the Wheat Pool he met the love of his life Bev Ilchyshen. The pair started their own business P&B Painting which he operated for 25 years. He was a very hard working loving husband, father, Gido, Uncle an friend. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family who will miss him greatly.
