Carla Marie Toullelan passed away peacefully at the Royal University Hospital on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at the age of 47. Carla was born to Denis & Therese Toullelan on Sept. 6, 1973 in Prince Albert, SK. Carla went to school in Domremy, graduating in 1991. Carla was pre-deceased by her parents Denis and Therese Toullelan, her sister Colleen Toullelan, her grandparents: Jean-Marie and Augustine Toullelan and Michael and Christine Nidosky; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She will be lovingly remembered by her friends who surrounded her at the time of her passing: Colette and Mike , Norma and Kelvin, Lizanne and Frank, Lee Anne, Heather and Pete, Claire and Rob and her sister Audrey and Claude. Carla worked as a medical receptionist for a medical clinic in Prince Albert. Soon after, she realized that her true calling was nursing. Carla graduated from the Gabriel Dumont Institute in 2006 and shortly after began working at the Victoria Union Hospital. Those of you that knew Carla, know how beautiful she was inside and out! Her compassion for others, always putting others before herself! Riley was Carla’s love of her life! Riley, a Jack Russel Terrier that Carla got to mother for 16 years, was her life. He was her baby! Carla was such a joy to be with! The singing, dancing and joking around, was to the very last minute of her life. Her beautiful smile and laughter will always be with us forever. Carla had such an inner strength, her strong quiet faith helped her to accept her fate. “It is what it is” was her answer for us. Carla made many wonderful friends in the short time she was here on earth and we believe we were truly blessed and honoured to have been a part of her life. You will sadly and lovingly be missed by all who got the chance to know you Carla! Miss you Baby Girl! Car Bar Until we meet again!
A private Mass of Christian Burial was Held at the St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church in Domremy, SK on Saturday, March 6, 2021 with Rev. Fr. Milan Sajonas as celebrant. Interment of the Urn followed at the St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Cemetery. Donations in memory of Carla may be directed to the St. Paul’s Hospital Dialysis Unit, Saskatoon, SK. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Marc Blondeau of Kushneryk Funeral Service, Wakaw, SK, 306-233-4403.
