Obituary for Dale James Loeffelholz

Dale James Loeffelholz
Dale James Loeffelholz passed away on July 1, 2018 at Rosthern Hospital at the age of 64 while surrounded by his loving family after a short battle with cancer. Dale was born in Cudworth on July 14, 1953 and lived there his whole life. He grew up learning construction from his Dad. One of the largest projects that he worked on was building the Roman Catholic Church in Cudworth. He told us many times that he carried almost every bag of cement for that building and half of the boards for the ceiling. As an adult, he farmed with his dad and brothers and that love of farming transformed into his final career of dismantling tractors for the family tractor salvage business. He enjoyed going to work every day and loved that his son Darin followed in his footsteps and learned everything about tractors from him. Dale loved his yearly family trips to Puerto Vallarta and looked forward to them all year long. In 1973 Dale met Elaine Kleiter and they married on July 20, 1974. They had three children who Dale would do anything for, from helping with home renovations, building beautiful book shelves, helping install furnaces to purchasing a camper and boat for his children and grandchildren to enjoy every summer. Dale leaves to mourn his passing and cherish his memory his wife of 43 years, Elaine; his children: Darin (Amy), Shannon (Cas) and Michelle (Aaron); his grandchildren: Shelby (Kyle), Kayden, Rilee, Myah, Shayde, Dylan and Hailey; his brothers and sisters: Hap (Anne), Lloyd, Dallas (Maureen), Patti (Randy), Joan (Bernie), Lyn (Kelly) and Ann (Terrance) and brother-in-law: Ray; mother-in-law, Veronica; as well as many other in-laws, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Dale was predeceased by his parents Donald & Juanita and sister Elaine.
