Margaret Meszaros (nee Hnatiuk) passed away peacefully on June 23, 2018 at the Lakeview Pioneer Lodge in Wakaw at the age of 89 years. Margaret was born at Tarnapol to Kostantyn and Katherina on July 11th, 1928. She was the youngest of 5 children. Margaret was married to Steve Meszaros in October of 1945. Margaret enjoyed gardening, kaiser, bingo and music and dancing. She also enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Margaret is survived by her daughter Shannon Berard, granddaughter Chrissy Berard (Lee Gaudet),great greatchildren Ali, Rylee, Alivia and granddaughter Charlene Berard; her son Ryan (Sylvia) Meszaros and their children Heather (Chris) Quirk great grandchildren Marleigh and Dylan and grandson Kane Meszaros; and her brother in law Mike Balon. Margaret was predeceased by her parents Kostantyn and Katherina Hnatiuk, her husband Steve Meszaros, and her siblings: Dmytro, Bill, Lena Balon, Olga Olexsyn and Anne Loessel. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the doctor, nurses and staff at Lakeview Pioneer Lodge and for their kind and compassionate care during her final days.
