With heavy hearts the family of Sandra McElligott (nee Costello) shares news of her passing on August 25, 2016 in Saskatoon. Sandra was a strong, inspiring and loving mother to her son, Sean McElligott (Rebecca) and daughter, Erin Standish (Craig). By always prioritizing her family and putting others first, she was the perfect Nanny to her four grandchildren- Matthew, Kristin, Belle and William. For all else who knew and loved her, she will remain in their hearts as a supportive and caring daughter, sister, auntie, adoptive nanny, friend, cousin, colleague, neighbour, confidante and personal chef. A service for family and close friends will take place on Monday August 29, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Good Shepherd at The Columbarium at St. John's Cathedral, where she will then be interred with her husband, Jim, and close to her daughter-in-law, Kim. Donations in Sandra's memory may be made to the Children's Wish Foundation. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Marc Blondeau of Kushneryk Funeral Service, Wakaw, SK., 306-233-4403.
