Peter grew up and lived in Wakaw all of his life. After his parents moved to the Wakaw Nursing Home, Peter stayed on the farm for a number of years and would come to Saskatoon for the winters. At the age of 59, he had a severe stroke which took a toll on him when he lost his speech. As he became more debilitated, he moved to St. Michael’s Haven in Cudworth where he spent 10 years in assisted living. In 2012, Peter moved to the Lakeview Pioneer Lodge in Wakaw where he resided until his passing. Peter was a quiet man who loved to play Bingo and watch T.V. and enjoyed the simple things in life.
