PELLETIER, DENNIS – At the age of 69, on August 11, 2014 at 5:45 pm, we said goodbye to Dennis Gerald Pelletier for the last time after a 4 month battle with cancer. Dennis was born February 1, 1945 in Thunder Bay, ON, grew up in St. Isidore de Bellevue, SK, and lived in Saskatoon for the last 46 years. Everyone that knew him will remember the love he had for family and friends, and the countless get-togethers he arranged over the years. Dennis was predeceased by his father Felix Pelletier in February 1987, his sister Janet Pelletier in April 2003, his mother Aline (Gaudet) Pelletier in December 2013, his brother Gustave Pelletier in January 2014, father-in-law Louis Sloboda in April 1992 and mother-in-law Elizabeth (Bator) Sloboda in December 1996. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years Margaret, his daughter Lori (Bob Heshka), grandchildren Kristin, Kim, Carly and Jack, his daughter Bonnie (Rob) Komick, grandchildren Cole, Sian and Jade, foster daughter Shailee Turchenek and her children Nick, Haylee and Hanna, his sisters Celine (Louis) Doderai, Cheryl Pelletier, Rita (Jean-Pierre) Denis and Colette (Daniel) Denis as well as many special nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, especially Ron and Glorianne Gruending and their family.
