Obituary for Claude O'Neil Emalien LeBlanc

Claude O'Neil Emalien LeBlanc
Claude LeBlanc was born December 16, 1933 on a farm in Domremy, SK to Napoleon LeBlanc and Marie Langlois. He was the middle child with an older brother, Origene and a younger brother Gerald. After high school, his first job was as a study supervisor in a one room school at Ormeau, SK. He loved the classroom so much that he decided to make a career of it. After a year at Teachers College in Saskatoon, he began teaching at Bremner School in St. Louis, St. Thérèse in Domremy, Prud’homme, Perigord and finally in St. Louis until 1982. On June 29, 1957, Claude married the love of his life, Jacqueline Gaudet. Together they raised seven children: Cecile, Odile, Paulette, Roseline, Martin, Claire and Nicole. He leaves behind 24 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. He shared with us his love of God, his passion for travel and his generosity. He loved camping, fishing, and spending time with his family. He set aside time every summer to vacation with his family and friends. The Prayer Vigil will be held at the St. Louis Roman Catholic Church on Monday, October 29, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. led by Gerald Gareau.
