It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Barbara Anderson at the Rosthern Hospital on Nov 11, 2015, at the age of 58 years. Barbara is survived by her loving family: her partner Gordon Harasymchuk; her children: Dean (Corrine) Anderson, Amanda Anderson, Arliss Anderson, Sammi Harasymchuk (Curtis) and Stacey (Franz) Schleicher; her beloved grandchildren; Gordon, Brody, Zennon and Lainey; her sister Sylvia (Don) Orr; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends whom she loved dearly. Barbara was predeceased by her parents Peter and Jeanne Kuppenbender, her brothers Rupert (Colleen) Kuppenbender and Leo Kuppenbender; and her sister Raymond (Jean) Guigon. Barbara had a great encompassing love for her family and friends. She also highly enjoyed gardening, reading and spending time with her grandchildren. Barbara worked for many years at the Lakeview Pioneer Lodge in Wakaw, where she enjoyed cooking and caring for the elderly making many lasting friendships. Words cannot describe her strength and beautiful character that was selfless when it came to her family and friends.
