She moved to Prince Albert and worked at the Holy Family Hospital for a number of years. She met and fell in love with a young farmer, Leonard Andre, in June 1953 and they married in October of that same year. They would have celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary on October 14, 2015. Leonard and Theresa resided on the family homestead and she was actively involved in the daily farming activities until 1993. She always had a huge garden, did plenty of baking and made the best bread, pies and Hungarian cabbage rolls! She was always very hospitable and you never left her home hungry. Theresa was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. At the age of 82 she suffered a stroke and was no longer able to live at home.
