It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Anton (Tony) Leo LaBrash on September 29, 2015 at the age of 77 years. Tony was born September 23, 1938 in Cudworth, SK to Leo and Frances (nee Wurm) LaBrash. He grew up on the original LaBrash farm, along the shores of Muskiki Lake, where he developed an enduring passion for the land and the cattle they raised. Tony married Marjorie Anne Dust on July 6, 1974 and they had three children and eight grandchildren, the ninth grandchild is expected to arrive this December. They devoted their lives to the family farm and shared their love of the land with their children, who to Tony’s great pride, have each built their careers in the field of agriculture.
Tony is survived by his loving wife Marjorie (nee Dust), and three children Leanne (Hushton Block) LaBrash, Kelly (Lisa) LaBrash and Rochelle (Marc) Mansiere ; as well as eight beautiful grandchildren who were his absolute pride and joy; Magnus, Kierce, Emma, Lyndon, Seth, Anna, Luc and Maria. Tony will also be fondly remembered by his siblings: Walter (Elinor) LaBrash, Ellen (Rodney) Krips, James (Donna) LaBrash , George (Jane) LaBrash, Edward (Diane) LaBrash, Cecilia (Albert) Robertson and Marie Tupone; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Tony was predeceased by his parents, brother Terry (Sally) LaBrash and brother-in-law Nic Tupone.
Tony was an incredible husband, father, Papa, brother, uncle and friend who will be missed by so many.
