LINGEL - Peter (Gueroloff) was born December 22, 1933 at Langham, SK and passed away at the Lakeview Pioneer Lodge in Wakaw, SK, on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at the age of 84 years. Peter grew up on a farm in Hendon, SK. He later moved to Saskatoon where he married and had two daughters, Beverly and Gail. He was employed by the City of Saskatoon until 1971. Peter then married Ella Lingel and they moved to Kelowna B.C. where he worked for the school district for the next 25 years. In 1996, he retired and they moved to Cudworth, Sask. In his retirement he continued to play his guitar and entertain at the Cudworth Nursing Home and other functions. Peter leaves to mourn his passing, his wife of 44 years, Ella, and her children: Sharon (Gary) Hauber of Cudworth, SK., Allan (Pat) Lingel of Saskatoon, SK., Floyd (Carol) Lingel of Cudworth, SK., Glen Lingel of Cudworth, SK., Laverne (Daryl) Vigoren of Saskatoon, SK., Holly Lingel of Arborg, MB., and Sheila (Stu) Lingel of Kelowna, B.C.; 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and his sister Helen Isackson of Saskatoon, SK. He was predeceased by his parents Peter & Stella (Woikin) Gueroloff, his brother Alex Gueroloff and his brother-in-law Clifford Isackson. The Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church in Cudworth on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. Fr. Dennis Phaneuf as celebrant. Internment of the Urn will follow in St. Michael's Roman Catholic Cemetery. Donations in Peter's memory may be directed to St. Michael's Haven.
